Jesus Group LLC

Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

This policy explains what information Jesus Group LLC (“Jesus Group,” “we,” “us”) collects on jesusgroup.net, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose. Questions are always welcome at contact@jesusgroup.net.

Who we are

Jesus Group LLC is the team behind @Jesus, the Christian community on Instagram and Discord, and the maker of the Find Jesus app. We are responsible for the information collected on this website. You can reach us at contact@jesusgroup.net.

This policy covers jesusgroup.net only. The Find Jesus app has its own privacy policy, and our Instagram, Discord, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads and Kick communities are run on those platforms under their own terms and privacy policies.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Newsletter: your email address, and the date you signed up.
  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Partnership form: your name, work email, organization, budget range (if you choose one) and message.
  • Emails you send us at contact@jesusgroup.net.

Please don't send us sensitive information, such as health or financial details, through these forms.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, which links and buttons are clicked (their label and where they lead, never what you type), which parts of a page are viewed, the site that referred you, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country and city). Google Analytics sets cookies to do this (see Cookies below). Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser, the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

  • To reply to your messages and partnership inquiries.
  • To send the newsletter you asked for. Every newsletter lets you unsubscribe.
  • To understand which pages and features are useful, and improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, and we do not use it to make decisions about you by automated means.

Who helps us

We use a small number of service providers, who handle information only on our behalf:

  • Website hosting: runs the site and keeps its server logs.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, described above.
  • Email: our email provider, and a form-delivery service that sends contact and partnership messages to our inbox.
  • Newsletter: our newsletter platform sends each issue and keeps the subscriber list.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our community or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply).

Cookies

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_<ID>) to tell visits apart. They last up to two years. We do not use advertising cookies.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you agree. Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time: . You can also block cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Do Not Track: browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal, but there is no common standard for it, so the site doesn't change its behavior when it receives one. Google Analytics, our only third-party analytics, doesn't follow you across other sites for us, and you can turn it off with the cookie settings above.

How long we keep it

  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Messages and inquiries: as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable business records, and no longer than three years unless we are working together.
  • Analytics: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, no longer than 14 months.
  • Server logs: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
  • correct it, or ask us to delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave;
  • not be treated differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email contact@jesusgroup.net with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to confirm it's you before we act, and we will respond within the time the law allows (usually 30 to 45 days). You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

California residents: in the last 12 months we collected the categories described above (identifiers such as name and email, the content of messages, and internet activity such as pages viewed), from you and your browser, for the purposes described above. We disclosed them only to the categories of service providers described above. We have not sold or shared personal information.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: we rely on your consent for the newsletter and analytics cookies, on our legitimate interests to reply to messages and keep the site secure, and on steps you ask us to take before entering a partnership. Our providers may process information in the United States under appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you are under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), please don't send us personal information. If you believe a child has done so, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and we limit who can access the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us anything you would not want shared.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the site.
